After working for whole life, the aged just want to enjoy their retirement. Having a trip, going to a restaurant with friends. Yet, these may just be only a dream. Now, in Hong Kong, many aged over sixties, or even seventies still have to work to maintain their living. It may because, the aged have for long engaged in labour work with low income, so they have no savings. Together with inadequate social aids, these aged are suffering from p'love'rty. For those aged with some savings may fear that their savings can't support their living. That's why, it's not difficult to find that there are quite a number of old people picking up cans, paper and by selling them so as to make a few pennies. Aged P'love'rty is not only a phenomenon in Hong Kong, it's regarded as a world-wide problem. Even in those advanced countries, like the U.S.A., has to face such a social problem. To show our love and respect, governments of different countries have to better their social welfare systems, so as to ensure that the aged will not suffer from p'love'rty. I sincerely hope that in the near future, the aged can really enjoy their retirement, sitting in an armed chair, having a cup of tea and chatting with their friends.
