However, credit card does have the following disadvantages:
- You don’t have to carry a large amount of cash around, nor do you have to pay cash when shopping.
- For card holders who settle payment in full each month, their credit card loan is interest-free before the payment due date.
- Since your credit card gives you the chance to get a loan, you can have the flexibility to use your available cash for other investment or money-making purposes. On the other hand, in case of cash shortage, your credit card can also provide you with ready cash for your urgent needs.
- Nowadays, different banks offer different shopping discounts or cash refunds for customers, making credit card a more convenient option than cash.

A credit card can bring consumers lots of benefits. Following are some of them:
- Security systems for credit cards are not well developed. Credit cards are still liable to be stolen for purchases, causing losses to card holders.
- Many card holders, including even teenagers, who are unaware of their repayment ability, would go bankrupt as a result of overspending.
