Course summary

For students to understand and explain the various shaping forces underlying human behavior.
To provide students with a broad learning experience for their intellectual development such that they will be sensitive to social issues, able to critically examine social phenomena and promote social justice.
To enhance students’ integrity and capacity for personal development as ethical and caring persons who are capable of making informed decisions in their future careers and in daily life.

Entry Requirement

Have obtained Level 2 in five subjects (including Chinese Language and English Language) in the HKDSEE; OR
Have graduated from the Yi Jin Diploma; OR
Have obtained Grade E or above in one AL / two ASL subjects in the HKALE plus five passes in the HKCEE including Chinese Language and English Language; OR
Have completed a QF Level 3 programme that is approved by the Institute; OR
Mature applicant aged 21 or above on 1 September of the year when admission is sought, with relevant working experience and academic background; OR
Have obtained an equivalent qualification.
