Course summary

The programme aims to equip students with specialised knowledge and skills in organising events in the tourism industry. After graduation, students will have exciting tourism and events career opportunities both locally and overseas. Since this programme was launched in 2003, it is a popular choice among students and is highly recognised by the industry. Programme features include in-class experiential learning, professional talks, and field trips in such areas as mega events, special events, conferences and exhibitions.

Entry Requirement

Level 2 or above in 5 subjects# (including Chinese Language and English Language);


Pass in one AL subject or two AS subjects in the HKALE; and three passes in HKCEE* PLUS Level 2 / Grade E or above in Chinese Language and English Language, or equivalent;

Applicants whose HKDSE / HKALE results do not meet the entry requirements of the 2-year Higher Diploma Programme should apply for admission to the Certificate in General Studies (Business – Management) programme (HP 82–409), and must satisfy all conditions specified by the programme administration before applying for admission to this 2-year Higher Diploma Programme.

Hold a recognised Pre-Associate Degree, Foundation Programme or Certificate in General Studies Programme qualification; OR
Hold a recognised post-secondary certificate or diploma.
