The Occupational Safety and Health Council will hold an online seminar on 31 May 2022, at which the representatives of Labour Department will introduce the heat stress assessment and address the control measures of preventing heat stroke at work under hot environment. Despite the presence of the rule of law in different legal systems; practice, or even understanding, of the rule of law may vary among jurisdictions. With a view to contributing to the UN 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, in particular, Goal 16.3 which advocates 'promot[ing] the rule of law at the national and international levels and ensur[ing] equal access to justice for all', the Department of Justice of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region of the People's Republic of China, Asian Peace and Reconciliation Council, and Asian Academy of International Law join hands to organise the 'Vision 2030 for Rule of Law International Symposium', bringing together prestigious speakers to examine both the shared and distinct understanding and practice of the rule of law under various jurisdictions. In addition to plenary sessions featuring government dignitaries and world-renowned legal experts, eminent speakers of varied spectra will discuss three seminal issues: (1) the rule of law under international law, (2) fundamental elements of the rule of law, and (3) practice of the rule of law in different cultural contexts. The Symposium will also present the Vision 2030 Task Force Report, the fruit of two years' intensive work since the launch of 'Vision 2030 for Rule of Law' in 2020.

Virtual Information Expo on Multiple Pathways 2022 (Info Expo) will be held on 27 and 28 May 2022. The Virtual Info Expo will serve as an one-stop online platform providing information on various articulation opportunities for secondary school students and graduates and help them plan well for their further studies and career pathways. About 30 institutions and organisations will host exhibition booths at the Virtual Info Expo to provide information on locally accredited post-secondary programmes (including programmes under the “Study Subsidy Scheme for Designated Professions/Sectors” or “Non-means-tested Subsidy Scheme for Self-financing Undergraduate Studies in Hong Kong” and as well as vocational and professional education and training (VPET) programmes), the applied degree programmes, the Diploma Yi Jin programme, and relevant online platforms such as the Information Portal for Post-secondary Programmes (iPASS), the Electronic Advance Application System for Post-secondary Programmes (E-APP), Concourse on Self-financing Post-secondary Education and Qualifications Framework etc. There will also be various live talks on topics such as multiple pathways, VPET, the applied degree programmes, and experience sharing by students. Advisory service on further studies and career planning will also be provided. The virtual exhibition platform will be available until 12 August. "BEHub" is designed and implemented by The Society of Rehabilitation and Crime Prevention, Hong Kong (SRACP) with the aim of inspiring and nurturing the disadvantaged population and members of the public to become social innovators to address the challenges relating to poverty and social exclusion. "BEHub" will organize idea generation activities and support innovative projects at prototype and start-up stages to improve the well-being of local disadvantaged population. Briefing sessions and workshops will be held to bridge the information gap on issues of disadvantaged population.
