Since 1st April 2020, the Innovation and Technology Commission enhanced the Technology Voucher Programme (TVP) with an aim to subsidise SMEs in using technological services and solutions to improve productivity, or to upgrade and transform their business. In order to meet the needs of the industries, a series of enhancement measures have been implemented, including an increase in the funding ceiling and relaxation on the eligibility criteria, etc. At this workshop, representatives from the Innovation and Technology Commission will introduce the latest enhancement measures for TVP, application procedures and successful case sharing. To support students to self-learn coding at home during class suspension, ‘Code2App 2020’ has arranged a series of online activities for students to equip with coding skills and invent mobile apps that promote the importance of health and wellness. Students can unleash creativity to help the public to solve real life problems, especially with the impact brought by the epidemic, and develop computational thinking at the same time. The online course of the advanced workshop is now available for students to learn practical coding skills to build mobile apps.
