Seminar "How Intellectual Property Drives ESG Value and Financing Opportunities for Enterprises"

Implementing Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) principles not only optimises corporate business models but also enhances reputation and attracts investor participation. In this seminar, an intellectual property (IP) expert will analyse the crucial role of IP in ESG. The expert will share insights on the concept of green IP and its impacts on sustainable development. He will explain how IP drives green technology innovation, technology transfer and licensing, as well as its applications in relevant reporting and risk management. Furthermore, the expert will discuss industry case studies to illustrate IP financing (such as green bonds), with a view to assisting SMEs in exploring new opportunities related to ESG from an IP perspective.
