Design X Technology Start-up Challenge Explores Possibilities

Have you think about exploring business opportunities by joining hands with fellow local designers and technology companies? Sponsored by CreateHK, the Hong Kong Designers Association collaborates with Hong Kong Science & Technology Parks Corporation to organise the DXT Start-up Challenge from July to December. Tailor-made for Design x Technology (DXT) startups, the competition aims to team up local designers and technology companies for business development through Entrepreneurship Programme, Pitching Contest and Overseas and Mainland Mission Tours, and help realizing vivid imagination into a profitable business!

Entrepreneurship Training Provided by Experts from Silicon Valley

The DXT Start-up Challenge is divided into four phases. In the first phase 30 teams will be selected for a 3-month Entrepreneur Mentorship Programme led by experts from Silicon Valley. 15 out of the 30 teams selected and further invited to make a pitch of their DXT products on stage for 7 minutes to a team of expert judges.

Explore Business Opportunities Through Outbound Tours

12 best teams will enter the third round to join the Mission Tours to US and the Mainland to showcase their prototypes around the world and get feedback from investors. The top 6 pitches will be announced at the awards presentation ceremony during the DXT Conference.
