Backstage: After the End of the World - The HKTA Ching Chung Secondary School

This creative work aims to express the recent concern about the end of the world, as well as to explore what the world would be like when it ends. Some say every thin will disappear, while others say people will be led to another world by the God of Death. Some even believe that if we light against the God of Death, there may be a chance of rebirth.

The work consists of four parts. In the first part, screams and electronic music depict the moment of the end of the world in an intense atmosphere. The second part is led by the low-pitched sounds of drum together with various special percussion instruments representing the fierceness of the God of Death. The piano in the third part plays the theme expressing people's determination to tight against the God of Death. In the last part, the actors create layers of sound effects by beating on boxes of different sizes representing people's unity and their final triumph over the God of Death.
