ICYSCs provide four core programmes for youth, i.e. guidance and counselling, supportive service for young people in disadvantaged circumstances, socialisation programmes and development of social responsibility and competence.
Non-core programmes such as drop-in service, interest groups, summer youth programmes and study/reading room service are also provided to offer opportunities for children and youth to spend their leisure time constructively..

There are various types of study rooms for youth in different districts. And the Study Room Scheme organised by EDB is aimed to provide a quiet place for students to study, especially for those residing in crowded and noisy homes.
The study rooms self-financed / subvented by SWD, LCSD, HAD and non-government organizations (List of study rooms), can be found in each districts, which are very convenient to the youngsters.
