To popularise space technology and enhance the aerospace literacy of Hong Kong’s young people, the Hong Kong New Generation Cultural Association has been commissioned by the Secretariat of the Organising Committee of the National Youth Space Innovation Competition (i.e. the China Aerospace Science and Technology International Exchange Center) to jointly organise and host the 5th Hong Kong Youth Aerospace Innovation Competition this year. This competition will also serve as the Hong Kong regional selection for the 2025–2026 National Youth Space Innovation Competition.

This year's competition comprises 2 categories with a total of 9 events, including 2 aerospace technology innovation events and 7 space exploration competition events. It is divided into primary, junior secondary, and senior secondary divisions. Outstanding awardees will have the opportunity to be recommended by the Hong Kong New Generation Cultural Association to engage in exchanges with innovation and technology talents from Chinese Mainland and overseas, broadening their horizons.
