To inspire the next generation and DSE candidates to explore their future in the construction industry, Hong Kong Institute of Construction (HKIC) will host the “HKIC Open Day 2026” at its Kowloon Bay Campus from 29 to 30 May 2026.
The Open Day features a range of immersive artificial intelligence (AI) experiences and construction technology exploration activities, enabling participants to gain an in-depth understanding of how the latest construction technologies, AI and professional technical knowledge are integrated into and applied within HKIC’s curriculum. HKIC is honoured to welcome Hong Kong singer-songwriter, Mr. HUNG Ka-ho, as the “Gen C Music Builder”, at the Opening Ceremony. Through live music creation and cross-disciplinary collaboration with students, he will lead Gen C to build the rhythm of the future with technology, showcasing the limitless possibilities of the construction industry.
The letter “C” represents both “Construction” and Generation Z (Gen Z), symbolising a new generation of innovative young talent joining forces to shape a more dynamic future for the industry.
