Now, he brings this spectacular version to Hong Kong, blending the Western symphonic tradition with the vibrant sounds of Chinese instruments performed by soloists from the Singapore Chinese Orchestra – a true celebration of cultural collaboration. Opening the concert is Hong Kong violinist Angela Chan, recent first prize winner of the Joseph Joachim Competition, performing Mendelssohn's timeless Violin Concerto, a work that sparkles with lyrical elegance and dazzling virtuosity.
