"Muse Fest HK 2025" is about to begin in November! Approaching its 11th year, the theme of this year’s Museum Festival will be "Museum Anniversary", celebrating the anniversaries of 6 museums under Leisure and Cultural Services Department (LCSD), namely 70th Anniversary of the Discovery of the Lei Cheng Uk Han Tomb, 50th Anniversary of Hong Kong Museum of History, 45th Anniversary of Hong Kong Space Museum, 40th Anniversary of Hong Kong Railway Museum, 25th Anniversary of Hong Kong Heritage Museum and 1st Anniversary of Hong Kong Museum of the War of Resistance and Coastal Defence. The programmes of Museum Festival are absolutely packed with surprises! Don't miss the fabulous activities in LCSD museums and art spaces and the inaugural event – Fun@Museum Carnival in November.

Grand Kick-off: Fun@Museum Carnival

From 1st to 2nd November, a spectacular outdoor carnival will be held at the Hong Kong Cultural Centre Piazza! The event will feature "Jumbo Museum Journey", "Dazzling Ping Pong Fun", "Collab Art Live!", "Classic Times Photo Booth" and multiple themed photo spots. There will also be various experiential workshops such as the "Cyanotype Workshop" and other stage performances. All activities are free and perfect for the whole family to enjoy together!

Five major programme series 70+ Museum Activities

More than 70 extraordinary happenings will be hosted by museums and art spaces of LCSD, categorised into five programme series, including the "Special", "Collaboration", "Fun Day", "Exhibition and Film Show" and "Interactive Experience".

Sneak Peek: "Museum Anniversary"

To celebrate the anniversaries of the 6 museums, LCSD is collaborating with various brands and organisations this year. This initiative includes a collaboration with the local brand "City Story" to launch IP products "Museum Anniversary Brick Set Edition"; The Hong Kong Space Museum is teaming up with Maxim's Cakes for the first time to launch a limited-time Snowy BBQ Pork Pineapple Bun. Come to “Fun@Museum Carnival” to explore the brick sets and enjoy the limited-edition of pineapple buns for free! More exciting collaborative projects are coming soon, please stay tuned!
