As spring returns to the earth and all things are renewed, Hong Kong as a city at the heart of Asia’s international art scene, offers a rich and diverse array of cultural experiences every March. This vibrant celebration of the arts has become an annual highlight for the global arts community.
As always, the extensive coverage of activities in Art March Hong Kong 2026, ranging from world‑renowned art fairs, cultural summits, exhibitions, art festivals, screenings and performing arts programmes that welcome people from all walks of life, will make the city's vibrant cultural landscape even more colourful. 54th Hong Kong Arts Festival
HKAF, launched in 1973, is a major international arts festival committed to enriching the cultural life of the city by presenting leading local and international artists across all genres of the performing arts, as well as a diverse range of “PLUS” and educational events. This year’s Hong Kong Arts Festival brings together an exceptional line-up of leading international and local artists, and continues to bring the arts into the community through a diverse series of about 300 outreach and PLUS events. These include, among others, special events for Young Friends, and educational activities for students at primary, secondary and tertiary schools. There are also Festival “PLUS” events targeted at different sectors of the community, including exhibitions, masterclasses, workshops, backstage tours, artist talks, film screenings and guided cultural tours, enhancing the Festival experience for audience members.

Art Central 2026
Art Central showcases the next generation of talent from Asia’s most innovative galleries alongside distinguished artists from around the world, and has established itself as an international platform for pushing boundaries in contemporary art and experimentation. The 11th edition of Art Central will return to its home on Hong Kong’s iconic Central Harbourfront and will present over 100 distinguished galleries, accompanied by a programme of performances, installations, video art and talks. The Fair offers art collectors and enthusiasts a dynamic platform to engage with forward‑thinking contemporary art, spark inspiration and foster meaningful cultural connections.

Art Basel Hong Kong 2026
Art Basel is the leading global platform connecting collectors, galleries, and artists. Art Basel’s fairs in Basel, Hong Kong, Paris, and Miami Beach are a driving force in supporting galleries as they nurture the careers of artists. The fair of this year will feature 240 galleries from 41 countries and territories, with more than half operating spaces across the Asia Pacific. Art Basel Hong Kong will return to the heart of Asia with new energy, fresh curatorial perspectives, and collaborative initiatives across the host city.
