The Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Development Office under the Constitutional and Mainland Affairs Bureau is staging a Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area (GBA) roving exhibition from 12 January until late March on the campuses of eight universities and at the Civic Education Resource Centre of Youth Square. The aim of the exhibition is to introduce to university students and young people the significant opportunities that GBA development presents for the youth of Hong Kong.This year's roving exhibition kicked off at Youth Square, the Chinese University of Hong Kong, Hong Kong Baptist University and the Education University of Hong Kong. The exhibition offers rich information including the introduction of policy measures in different areas of the GBA, support programmes and facilitation arrangements for Hong Kong young people, various on-the-ground support services provided by the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Development Promotion Centre as well as diversified channels for obtaining the latest practical information about the GBA, to help young people seize the numerous opportunities in the GBA.The roving exhibition has received venue support from the eight universities and the Civic Education Resource Centre of Youth Square. The Hong Kong Flower Show organised by the Leisure and Cultural Services Department (LCSD) is an annual highlight in the city that brings together more than 200 organisations from Hong Kong, the Mainland and overseas.  Dozens of exhibitors present a dazzling array of blossoms, artistic floral displays and landscaped gardens, transforming the venue into a splendid floral world for visitors.  Every year, hundreds of thousands flock to the Show, making it a must-visit event for gardening and flower enthusiasts.This year’s Flower Show celebrates the Stock as its theme flower, under the theme “A Fragrant Journey through Hong Kong”.  With its delicate fragrance and rich hues, Stock blossoms in tranquil corners of the bustling city, blending seamlessly into garden landscapes that capture Hong Kong’s unique character.  Let your senses guide you on a fragrant journey to uncover the romance and beauty of this city.A rich diversity of educational and recreational activities will run throughout the Show, including student drawing competition, photo competition, plant exhibit competition, music and cultural performances, floral art demonstrations, greening workshops, guided tours, recreational programmes, as well as family-friendly games.

The "Yau Ma Tei Police Station: A Cinematic Journey" exhibition, presented by the Cultural and Creative Industries Development Agency (CCIDA) under the Culture, Sports and Tourism Bureau, will open to the public at the Old Yau Ma Tei Police Station on 2 January 2026. The Old Yau Ma Tei Police Station, situated at 627 Canton Road, is a building in British Edwardian architectural style and a Grade‑2 historic building. The opening of the Old Yau Ma Tei Police Station is one of the projects announced in May 2025 to be implemented by the Working Group on Developing Tourist Hotspots led by the Deputy Chief Secretary for Administration. CCIDA has revitalised the ground floor of the historic building and infused it with Hong Kong's classic police and crime film culture to stage the "Yau Ma Tei Police Station: A Cinematic Journey" exhibition, promoting film tourism and local film culture.The "Yau Ma Tei Police Station: A Cinematic Journey" is designed by local filmmakers with exceptional creativity. It allows visitors to experience firsthand the interior design, ambience, and iconic scenes of Hong Kong police and crime films inside a real police station, showcasing the unique creativity behind.Tickets are available online from 10am of 27 December for visits from 2 to 31 January 2026. Through the online booking system, visitors may book tickets for admission on a day in the coming 30 days; a maximum of four tickets is allowed per transaction. There is no ticket sale onsite. Each session lasts for 25 minutes. For better user experience, the maximum number of visitors for each session is capped at 20 persons.The exhibition will open daily for the first two weeks (2 to 11 January) after inauguration, with extended opening hours from 9am to 10pm. Starting from January 12, normal opening hours will resume (see related webpage), and the exhibition will be closed on Mondays (except public holidays).

Since 2023, the Civil Service Bureau (CSB) has been co-ordinating with various departments in organising Government Career Fairs at local universities. These fairs allow students to learn about the work of various government positions in a more focused manner, and provide opportunities to interact with serving civil servants and ask questions. Local universities will hold career fairs featuring government departments successively from mid-September to early October. Some civil service grades will also hold career talks and other recruitment activities. The "Heritage Fiesta 2025", organised by the Commissioner for Heritage's Office (CHO) of the Development Bureau from October to November, will feature 10 declared monuments and graded historic buildings that were once filming locations for movies. The Public Records Office of the Government Records Service today (3 September) launched an annual thematic exhibition - "Unyielding Land, Eternal Heroes: 80th Anniversary of Victory in the War of Resistance", featuring precious archives and documentary heritage for members of the public to revisit Hong Kong's painful period left by the Japanese Occupation (1941-1945) and understand the heroic resistance of the Hong Kong Independent Battalion of the Dongjiang Column against the enemy. This exhibition showcases over 120 selected items, including photographs documenting the daily marches of the Hong Kong Independent Battalion of the Dongjiang Column and paintings depicting their heroic victories against the enemy, a name list of the Hong Kong Independent Battalion of the Dongjiang Column who died in the defence of Hong Kong, the "Register of Enemy Properties" documenting properties confiscated by the Japanese Military Government, etc. Additionally, the items reveal stories include the then Hong Kong Government pursuing after the war the recovery of books from the libraries of the University of Hong Kong looted by the Japanese forces, the demolition of the Japanese War Memorial, etc. The precious documentary heritage bears witness to the harsh lives of Hong Kong residents during the Japanese Occupation and the fearless spirit of the anti-Japanese heroes. The thematic exhibition is open from today (3 September) onwards from Monday to Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:45 p.m. (except public holidays), at the Exhibition Hall on the second floor of the Hong Kong Public Records Building at 13 Tsui Ping Road, Kwun Tong, Kowloon. Admission is free. In addition to distinctive photo spots, visitors can also experience the weight of the daily rice ration of "6.4 taels" during the Japanese Occupation, understanding the hardships of people's lives at that time. To provide members of the public with a better understanding of this history, the PRO has developed a thematic online exhibition. The 10th National Security Education Day Thematic Exhibition reflects on the development of promoting national security education at the national and the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR) levels over the years. This year marks the 10th National Security Education Day, with the national theme of "The 10th anniversary of National Security Education Day: advancing towards more in-depth and effective implementation". The HKSAR Government has always been committed to promoting national security education. Over the years, under the leadership of the Central Government and with the support of various offices of the Central Authorities in Hong Kong as well as the joint efforts of all sectors of society, diverse creative promotion activities have been successfully held with widespread participation.
