IP Training Programme “IP105 Safeguarding Digital Identity: Domain Name Dispute Resolution”

This new intellectual property (IP) course organised by the Intellectual Property Department and co-organised by the Hong Kong International Arbitration Centre and Asian Domain Name Dispute Resolution Centre is now open for registration.
“IP105 Safeguarding Digital Identity: Domain Name Dispute Resolution” will cover an overview of the domain name system, types of abuse and infringement (such as cybersquatting, phishing, typosquatting, etc.) and how to use a speedy and cost-effective specialised domain name dispute resolution process to protect intellectual property (IP). It will include case studies and practical step by step guidance on how to file and succeed in a domain name dispute case. (The medium of instruction will be Cantonese, supplemented with English terms.)
This course is free for members of the “IP Manager Scheme PLUS”. Enterprises registered in Hong Kong can fill out the online form to join the Scheme for free, getting priority in course registration and special offers for their staff joining the IP Training Programme. Participants will receive a certificate upon completion of the course.
This course will be live-streamed and held at the VTC Tower, Wan Chai on 21 August 2026.
