About the National Marine Knowledge Competition

Since its inception in 2008, the National Marine Knowledge Competition has been held for 14 editions and has grown into one of the most influential marine education initiatives in China.

About the Hong Kong Contest 

For its 15th edition, Hong Kong has been invited to participate in the national competition for the first time. The Hong Kong contest is scheduled to take place from September 2025 to January 2026.

Mission

The competition aims to promote ocean literacy, raise awareness of marine conservation, and inspire the next generation to take an active role in protecting our oceans.
