AimsThe Competition aims to provide participants with:A good understanding of the significance of business education in the digital ageHands-on experience of using technologies to solve real-world business problemsAn understanding of the disciplines of studies offered by the Faculty of Business, PolyU, properly known as PolyU Business School. Each student can only join one team, but schools can enter multiple teams without restrictions.There are two stages of competition. Only those successfully complete all the tasks in Stage 1 can enter Stage 2. For contesting teams, all members must successfully complete all the tasks in Stage 1 in order for the teams concerned to enter Stage 2.
The “Hong Kong Secondary Student Space Station Popular Science Payload and Science Experiment Design Challenge” is co-organised by the Education Bureau of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government, the Technology and Engineering Center for Space Utilization, Chinese Academy of Sciences, and the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, in support of the Department of Educational, Scientific and Technological Affairs, the Liaison Office of the Central People’s Government in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, along with partner organisations including the Beijing-Hong Kong Academic Exchange Centre, the Hong Kong Federation of Education Workers, and the Education Convergence.The challenge aims to promote aerospace education, deepen students' understanding of the country's achievements in the aerospace area, and strengthen their confidence in science and technology. Award-winning and selected proposals have opportunities to be realised and developed into final products, and would be recommended to the space station space mission and Space Station Hong Kong Popular Science Satellite Project, to commence in 2026.

Aims / ObjectivesThe Greater Bay Area STEAM Excellence Award (HKSAR) has been organized by Hong Kong New Emerging Technology Education Association (HKNETEA) since 2019 with the objective to enhance students’ creativity and innovation, and recognise young STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Mathematics) talents for their efforts, while recognizing the dedication of schools and teachers for their outstanding work and commitment to STEAM education.DetailsThe competition will be divided into streams : Kindergarten, Primary School, Secondary School, Tertiary and Postgraduate. Students can choose to participate in either individual or small groups of no more than five persons. In addition, there will be a Top 10 STEAM Teacher Award and Top 10 STEAM School Award.There are eight categories of The 7th Greater Bay Area STEAM Excellence Award 2025 (HKSAR):Artificial Intelligence,Information and Communication Technologies (ICT)Life and Health,New Materials and New Energy,Robotics,Science Laboratory,Science Video andRotary Water PurificationApart from our past categories, the following new categories are introduced :Life and Health: expect innovative projects addressing health challenges. These may include research on disease prevention, advancements in medical technology, studies on mental health, and solutions for improving overall well-being.New Materials and New Energy: projects that explore innovative materials with enhanced properties or sustainability. This includes research on renewable energy sources, energy-efficient technologies, and environmentally friendly materials.Science Video: engaging, informative videos that effectively communicate scientific concepts. Projects should demonstrate creativity and clarity in explaining experiments, research findings. Emphasis on visual storytelling, audience engagement, and educational value is crucial for impactful submissions.

"Healthy Student Drama Contest 2024-25" aims to promote the culture of healthy drama, enhance youngster's understanding of the Control of Obscene and Indecent Articles Ordinance (Cap. 390), and say no to objectionable information through performing drama by youngsters with imagination and creativity.
Safety Quiz is an event co-organised by the Occupational Safety and Health Council and Labour Department aiming to arouse the OSH awareness of employees and students through quizzes.
