Wayne McGregor: On The Other Earth is a 3D 360-degree panoramic post-cinematic choreographic experience. Set within an immersive nVis screen, the 57‑minute work fuses dance, digital imaging and AI. The performance is delivered through a 360-degree stereoscopic 12K LED display with a 26-million-pixel screen. Here, 3D imagery is experienced within an enveloping, large-scale cylindrical architecture measuring 8 metres wide and 4 metres tall. The work redefines how we think about movement, the body and performance. Audiences can experience visual and sonic landscapes unfolding before them in a series of thought-provoking otherworldly encounters and intimate interplay, upending our perceptions of performance and the future of entertainment.
