The objective of “Safe Spaces For All” Anti-Sexual Harassment 60-Second Video Contest is to promote public awareness and education on creating sexual harassment-free environments where everyone feels secure and respected. The Contest encourages creative storytelling to emphasise the importance of zero tolerance for sexual harassment, empowering individuals to contribute to safe communities.
A “Tram Photography Contest (“守網聯盟.電車漫遊”)” was initiated by the Cyber Security and Technology Crime Bureau of the Hong Kong Police Force between 1 March 2025 and 31 March 2025. A collective of 20 government departments, encompassing 36 mascots will be featured on three Tram Bodies and one Tram Station situated at Hennessy Road near the Police Headquarter, for promoting the theme “CyberDefenders Alliance”, a collaborative effort among different departments to combat technology crimes and safeguard Cyber security.Eligibility CriteriaAll HKID holders can participate in the Contest, who must complete the following tasks:Follow the “CyberDefender” Facebook Page;Like and Comment on the Contest announcement post published on 2025-02-28 on the “CyberDefender” Facebook Page and left a comment “共築防線,捍衛網安”; andShare the Contest announcement post on their own Facebook page and set as public.Individuals meeting the eligibility criteria are permitted to participate in the Contest and take photo on the advertised Tram Bodies and/or Tram Station. Each qualified candidate can submit one photo while all the entries should be forwarded to “CyberDefender” Facebook page (facebook.com/CyberDefenderHK) via private message.
The “Hong Kong Secondary Student Space Station Popular Science Payload and Science Experiment Design Challenge” is co-organised by the Education Bureau of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government, the Technology and Engineering Center for Space Utilization, Chinese Academy of Sciences, and the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, in support of the Department of Educational, Scientific and Technological Affairs, the Liaison Office of the Central People’s Government in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, along with partner organisations including the Beijing-Hong Kong Academic Exchange Centre, the Hong Kong Federation of Education Workers, and the Education Convergence.The challenge aims to promote aerospace education, deepen students' understanding of the country's achievements in the aerospace area, and strengthen their confidence in science and technology. Award-winning and selected proposals have opportunities to be realised and developed into final products, and would be recommended to the space station space mission and Space Station Hong Kong Popular Science Satellite Project, to commence in 2026.
The Chemical Safety and Health Advisory Committee of the Council in collaboration with the Labour Department, Education Bureau and the Fire Services Department is coorganizing the Chemical Safety Poster Design Competition 2024-2025. The competition aims to disseminate the OSH information and promote the importance of chemical safety while cultivating a proper safety culture through a creative way.Submission should be in A3 ‘Poster’ format (420mm x 297mm). There are three categories for the competition: Primary Group, Secondary Group and Open Group.Deadline for submission: 7th April 2025 (Monday)Student Group: Champion, First, Second and Third Runner-up and Merit Prizes, up to HK$2,000 worth of gift vouchers with trophies and certificates.Open Group: Champion, 1st Runner-up, 2nd Runner-up and Merit Prizes, up to HK$3,000 cash prize with trophy and certificate.

“Let’s Go Well-being Chak On” is a design competition for an inclusive “Well-being for All” space to be built at Chak On Estate, Sham Shui Po. This space is envisioned as a vibrant, inclusive area that fosters health, vitality, and community engagement for residents of all backgrounds, ages, and genders.To promote Well-being Design Guide, the Housing Bureau and the Hong Kong Housing Authority aim to engage young designers and students using Chak On Estate as a pilot to explore different well-being opportunities in our public housing estate. Aims / ObjectivesThe Greater Bay Area STEAM Excellence Award (HKSAR) has been organized by Hong Kong New Emerging Technology Education Association (HKNETEA) since 2019 with the objective to enhance students’ creativity and innovation, and recognise young STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Mathematics) talents for their efforts, while recognizing the dedication of schools and teachers for their outstanding work and commitment to STEAM education.DetailsThe competition will be divided into streams : Kindergarten, Primary School, Secondary School, Tertiary and Postgraduate. Students can choose to participate in either individual or small groups of no more than five persons. "Healthy Student Drama Contest 2024-25" aims to promote the culture of healthy drama, enhance youngster's understanding of the Control of Obscene and Indecent Articles Ordinance (Cap. 390), and say no to objectionable information through performing drama by youngsters with imagination and creativity.
Since 1997, the Hong Kong New Generation Cultural Association has been organising the "Hong Kong Youth Science and Innovation Competition." This "Science & Innovation Competition" has become the largest and most representative STEAM competition in Hong Kong. It is hailed as the "Cradle of Young Scientists" and the "Birthplace of Star Boys/Girls," discovering a large number of outstanding science and innovation talents, including more than a dozen "Star Boys/Girls" and multiple "Tomorrow's Little Scientists." Safety Quiz is an event co-organised by the Occupational Safety and Health Council and Labour Department aiming to arouse the OSH awareness of employees and students through quizzes.
